I'm new to the forum and, ironically, haven't played Dissidia thus far, the reason being: when it was a big hit a few years ago, I didn't own a psp and my parents wouldn't buy me one (and I wasn't old enough to get myself my own money). But even back then I was a big fan of watching videos of pvp matches.
I recently got into it again by re-obssessing with Final Fantasy (got to replay 8 and play 13-2 for the first time), then I got into watching matches again and was posetively surprised to see there was a competitive scene for this game, with a tournament hosted quite recently, so I've figured: "What the hell, I'm gonna get me a PSP soon-ish and also play on emulator and have my first experience and first competitive experience."
... so yeah, that's why I'm here, I'll still be lurking in the forums for a while as I am a total noob whose only experience in the game is watching. :P

FFVII Remake Release structure to be similar to FFXIII
Speaking with Game Informer, producer Yoshinori Kitase shared some brief insight on the multi-game project and how theyre comparing it's release format to the Final Fantasy XIII series. It will essentially be a full-scale game for each part of the multi-part series, says Kitase. If were just looking at each of these parts, one part should be on par with the scale of one Final Fantasy XIII game.
As we learned several months ago, the team plans to build on and expand the original story of FFVII in the new version. I, along with Nomura-san and Nojima-san who are involved with the remake were involved with the original Final Fantasy VII, Kitase explains. We were the people who created it, so in that sense, we dont think anything is untouchable. Kitase notes they wont be changing everything, however.

I dislike the latest arcade version.
Currently i'm trying to make a dissidia game engine, practicing my programming skills, animation and a few bunch of things...
I plan to have the engine capable of getting in new animations, attack patterns and effects,
so you can put original new characters in it and its own moves!
A mugen of its own!
Right now i'm testing its face recognition, so it can do wallruns and walljumps...
But i'm not sure if it'll do platformto platform transportation... since it may involve navigation meshes...
Let me know what you think!

What was your most used summon in KH2/KH2FM?
I tell ya, if you use an easier difficulty for the game, you most likely won't use Summons all that much (In my experience, and watching multiple playthroughs).
But Summons tend to be more reliable the harder you picked the difficulty to be... Especially Critical mode for Final Mix.
I used Chicken Little for the mob fights that happens in events, every single time. Sometimes during boss fights.
I NEVER used Genie.
I used Stitch for situational boss fights.
I used Peter Pan for other boss fights.
In the end, I still used Chicken Little the most. Even when the best thing to do would be to go into Limit Form. Nah, fuck that. Chicken Little is my fuckin savior, man. Seriously.

DLC skin mod problems
Here's the problem.
While digging through some mods in this site, I found one I wanted to try briefly, to see how well it was in game. This mod was the Serah Style n' Steel skin mod made by that goes over DLC 2 set of Lightning. For me, the assigned mod there was the Valkyrie Armour Mod (Final). Figuring there was no harm in trying it out, I had copied and pasted the edat files of SSS(Serah Style n' Steel) into the folder and it ran just fine. However, when i had attempted to switch back to the Valkyrie Armor by placing the edat files again (overwriting and deleting the SSS edat files from the folder) it as working but WITHOUT HER SIDE SKIRT!! I have tried to fix it by removing and placing the edat files into the folder, even re-downloading the zip file to have a clean copy of it but to no luck. Also attempted to wipe the folder clean of DLC and jsut re-apply but that didn't work either, only achieving the same effect: Lighting without her spectacular side skirt.
Can anyone resolve this isssue?

WOW! i never knew dissidia had such a wonderful community. I have been playin dissidia for about 7 years and had no idea. Ive always tried to play online but i didnt know how it worked and now that i kno u need an emulator i will defintely try it out. been dying to play against people who r very passionate about the dissidia games just as much as me :)

Lost my Dark Souls virginity and now I need some help.
So, after however many years of being told this series is amazing and me trying to convince my friends I'm not a masochist, I caved and bought Dark Souls 3. I know everyone says you should start with 1, or go all the way through from Demons' Souls, but I can't be bothered.
So perhaps more saliently, I suck at this game. Do any of our veteran Dark Souls fans have useful advice for a full-on noob/recommended class setups or stats to focus on?
I started as a mercenary after staring at the screen for half an hour not having any idea what would work well. Basically because I'm aware that you get a much better roll with low armour and I figured I'd probably die a lot at the start anyway.
Is there a truly noob friendly class/a weapon or stat build that might help a rubbish player?

Yeah, it's pretty much the only thing I can do for this category unless someone actual gives me the .exe for Camtasia or something. That's right, pretty much EVERY SINGLE SETUP FILE IS BLOCKED BY MY PC, AND NOT BECAUSE OF ANTIVIRIUS.

I'll start. I just recently did a Triple Demyx challenge. I recorded it and want to show everyone! Out of all the Triple boss challenges I've done, this one is by far my favorite. I tried to do Axel, but failed miserably. I'll post more triple boss challenges if I like them enough.

You know, i often Watch some "Walkthrough" videos of videos game i'm interested in.. But, when someone is speaking, i have to search for another one.. Because it literally "Break" the fun for me. You can't focus on the sounds, musics or gameplay.. Because you are hearing the man saying things, and generally his voice cover the game..
It might sounds dumb to tell this, but i wanted to.

So, I'm new and want to use this.
You see. I am quite late into the dissidia hacking and modding scene so as you can imagine, I have no idea what to do about anything and for some reason I just can't understand the tutorials. All I know is that I want to use is the Elizabeth Bathory Model seen in this video. This may not be the place to post this thread but I'm like kind of dumb so I don't know anything about anything and would really like some assistance.

Why all the hate for mobile games?
I for one find it convenient to play mobile games. When I'm on a trip and I'm bored out of my mind, I got something to do on my phone.
I can take the game everywhere with me and I can play it whenever I want. The cost for the game I want to play is fair, compared to Vita releases of the same game. Mobile gaming, when it comes to playing games like Final Fantasy VI or Adventures of Mana, has always given me the same experience as if I was playing those games on a Vita.
So yeah, I never understood, why do people hate mobile gaming all that much?
