Feral Chaos is no doubt one of the more troubled characters in the cast, for different reasons of course. His moves have high priority and most of them strike instantaneously. There's also one attack that is quite revered due to it's spammable capabilities.
But aside from all this, Feral Chaos is his own character and was inspired from Chaos himself from Final Fantasy, albeit....more toned up for plot reasons. As y'all may or may not know, I adore Feral Chaos not because he's broken but simply because he is a cool character and his actions are quite humorous when being slammed about. XD
Anyways, on to the point. Feral Chaos is broken, I won't deny that, but I want to find ways to tone him down.
One way and by the least amount of a nerf, is to limit him to only being able to unlock one of him limits. This still allows him to run a powerful Side By Side build and paired with the right assist along with Via Delorsa and Brute Force? Yeah...no, it's not enough. I propose if this was the way to go, he should be limited on the stages he can be used on for obvious reasons.
The second method is more simple, simply banning his attacks. Now I know this has been brought up before. Banning attacks from a character in official is a questionable move no doubt, but I believe Feral Chaos is a different case compared to the other characters. Via Delorsa and Brute Force are clearly just too much to deal with, removing those two alone makes Feral Chaos a very manageable character while still retaining his fierce rush-down gameplay.
The third option is a bit more tricky then the other two, it is creating a specific set that he must use in official, thus limiting him in his strength and abilities. This would of course take quite a bit of testing, and I still believe the stage banning would need to be done.
The fourth option is one I won't deny, perhaps it truly is best that he stays banned, however, I believe it's only fair that he gets a second chance and we play around with what needs to be done to bring him back.
I'm posting this thread not to openly declare that he needs to be back, but because I think it should be discussed further on possible ways to bring him back.
