I had Dissidia, and lost my PSP for about 2 years. Got 012 recently, and then got a sudden urge to see if there was a meta for it. I usually beat my friends in 012 with little effort, but I just mash buttons really. I googled Dissidia forums to find out, and here I am.
Lurked a little bit and already learned some new things. Like how I'm using Sephiroth wrong (my favorite character next to Exdeath). I always disregarded Shadow Flare because as soon as I saw it, I would dash through it and go on the offensive, making Sephy panic dodge and then hit him with a quick HP attack or combo. Which is why I thought if Flare allowed that to happen, it can't be too great. Reading the arguments for it and watching some vids in the thread though, I can see I was wrong. Which is what I hoped coming in really -- that I could learn new things and see how to actually correctly use characters.
Anyway, I'm pretty open to talk to and hope to get to know you~
