Building and Playing Shantotto? :/

I've had Shantotto in my roster of main characters for quite a while now (aside from Golbez and my mainy-main, Prishe), though it's just mostly against AI and an a friend of mine since I don't have too much know-how on executing online matches (and unstable internet in the philippines is also heartbreaking <//3). Might join when I figure it out though. :)

I was just wondering on how you guys believe Shantotto should be played. PvP is different from AI combat, so I was wondering on how you guys think Shantotto fares? I've read on some threads that she's at a disadvantage against most opponents (and on further analysis, this is actually quite true due to her lack of damage-dealing bravery options and her mostly punishable HP attacks). I was just wondering on something a bit more concrete here and didn't want to necro the previous thread since it sorta turned...tense-ish.

And in tandem with that, what builds would you recommend? Including accessories and equipment. Personally, I use a build that focuses on higher initial bravery, and it feels strong, if a bit fragile. From something centered on high initial bravery, should I switch to something else? Something like an EX or AST centric build? Would Snooze and Lose, along with Concentration be recommended skills to attach? Still not into a PvP scene so yeah...I'm sorta stumped on how to ease my way in since Shantotto's my weakest among my 3 mains.

P.S. Recommended Assist? I've personally used Prishe for a bit since her aerial backhand blow makes the opponent stagger if they guard it, so it seems good if it's well timed. Haven't tested other options aside from Kuja (which sucks since shantotto has no reliable HP attack that hits when she ASTchases.) and Kain, though. Any recommendations on who to use, too?

Thanks in advance! :D
