Okay, so I'm pretty sure we've got like 30 threads for top favourite movies (Die Hard, in case you were wondering :P), but I don't think I've seen one for people's favourite anime movies.
So pretty much, what's your favourite anime movie and why?
For example, mine is probably Porco Rosso (though I struggle to choose between that and Princess Mononoke). It's partly because I'm just obsessed with Hayao Miyazaki's art style and water colour backgrounds, and I (like the great man himself) love boat planes and the incredibly idyllic nature of a story about flying them around the near tropical paradise that is the adriatic sea. It's also one of a handful of anime I can think of with a very good English Dub (like many of Ghibli's movies).
And I'm totally not doing this to have something to watch for the next week or so. :rolleyes:
